Our story
Judge Oldner is one of the few lawyers in Texas who is double board certified in family law and criminal law. He has been named a Texas Super Lawyer and D Magazine’s Best Lawyer in Dallas every year since leaving the bench. He is a former member of the Board of Governors of the American Judges Association and is a Texas Bar Foundation Fellow. Judge Oldner received the Mari Kay Bickett Judicial Excellence Through Education Award, the Exemplary Judicial Faculty Award from Texas Center for the Judiciary, and served as Chairman of the Curriculum Committee for the Texas Center for the Judiciary for multiple years, designing legal education for all Texas judges.
For Families
Judge Oldner is dedicated to issues involving the protection and well-being of children. He served as the co-chair of the Texas Judicial Disproportionality Workgroup for the Supreme Court of Texas Permanent Commission on Children, Youth and Families’ Court Improvement Project, and as a member of the Texas Center for the Judiciary’s Children’s Justice Act Task Force.
